Observation #2

Site: Flatcreek
Temperature: 53
weather: mostly cloudy
Date:5/8/08
Time: 6:00

There are usuall many birds flying around the river throughout the day but when it gets colder and darker they go to the trees. It looks like the river is slowly declining. Many ducks go to the river in the evening rather than earlier in the day. The water in the river flows in different directions and is very calm in some places, where in others it flows at a fast pace. Later at night there are mesquitos. There were dark clouds and it was raining in the distance. The feild mice ate us!

Good observations regarding the organisms in your area! Be sure to check your spelling and grammar in general! The mistakes made distract and take away from your content, making your observations sound less sophisticated. Be sure to begin to tie in ecological concepts from class (ex: limited resources, competition etc)
